Millersville University, Pennsylvania - July 6th – July 11th, 2025
Semper Primus Chess Camp is a unique overnight experience for students entering K–12th grade, held July 6–11 at Millersville University in Pennsylvania. Designed to blend competitive play with community and personal growth, the camp features daily rated tournaments, elective master-level instruction, and a mix of recreational and evening activities including Blitz, Quads, and Swiss-style events. Campers can choose between 3- or 5-day sessions, with an optional tournament day on July 12 for those staying longer.
The camp offers flexible lodging options: students in grades 5–12 can stay in dorm suites independently, while younger campers (K–4th) can attend with a parent or guardian, or commute. With a strong focus on both chess education and social development, the camp is led by a dedicated staff including USCF-certified tournament directors, experienced masters, and on-site counselors to ensure a supportive and engaging environment.
